I recently bought a Dell Vostro 260s slim tower that came with two monitors that can do 1600x900 resolution. Like all slim line PCs however it is very limited when it comes to upgrade choices. After a few weeks of research I came to the conclusion that in order to max out the machine with the best video card available for slim PCs I had upgrade the 250W Dell power supply that came with the Vostro 260s and buy a PCIe video card. For the power supply I went with the 400W TFX model from KDM and I got this video card because at the moment it is the most powerful video card for slim PCs that's available in the US.If you're like me and would like to upgrade your slim PC but can wait for a few months you probably could go with the up-and-coming Seasonic modular 350W power supply instead. It is a much better quality brand than the KDM power supply that I bought. Having said that though both the power supply and the video card are performing quite nicely. I have to say that this video card can get a bit noisy after about 10-15 minutes of gaming time. It does not generate a ton of noise and if you play your games with a good volume set you won't hear it. Its still a caution though for those of you who really care and very picky about noise levels (Dell Vostro 260s slim tower is dead quiet btw). For that I have to take half a star off.As for video quality I have to say its very good. You can't compare it with non-slim video cards out there of course, but it is the best available for slim PCs. I have not tried some of the top games graphic wise out there like Metro or Battlefield 3 but I've played Dirt 3 (came free with this video card, although you have to get it through Steam) and it runs perfectly. No choppiness whatsoever. I have to take one star off though because I think the price is a little on the high side. I personally think that it should be priced close to $100, not much more. I take half a star off for this.
