I bought this product because I own a Dell Vostro 1500 and felt I could upgrade the graphics. Anyway after taking apart the laptop I found i the Intel 965 chipset was on the motherboard and not upgradeable :( but being me I bought a lower half of a used Vostro 1500 with MB included (which could take the NVIDIA ADAPTER) and did a rebuild. The case did not come with a heatsink for the processor so I reused mine (had to use my amazon bought Dremel to nick it a bit though) anyway to cut a long story short. I have much faster system as my original dual core 2GHX and 4GIGs of memory can now really stretch.Bottom line the Vostro with the NVIDIA card is faster than the system with the intel chipset. Windows experience up from 3.5 to 4.7. No reinstall of the OS just reassemble reboot and update the BIOS.DONE.
