I bought this card because it has a good chipset (Radeon 6850), and it was about $40 cheaper than the next level of chips. I have been using it for over a month and it is doing well. The windows performance index is 7.6. It is quiet and runs cool (I do not overclock).The main advantage over Nvidea is that the Radeon cards come with utilities that allow one to span desktops across multiple monitors, and it is possible to use 3 monitors. I have dual monitors, but have not yet taken the plunge to combine them into one desktop. Windows has a built in capability to use two monitors, but the taskbar stays on one monitor, and the two displays are still considered separate; the Radeon drivers allow the use of two monitors as a single desktop, with everything combined.Mine is a business machine, so I don't run games and thus cannot provide any feedback about that. I am running an Asus Sabertooth motherboard, the AMD Phenom 2 X6 (stock speed), and 16 gb of RAM.I recommend this card for anyone desiring a newer (not newest) chip at a reasonable price point for the performance.
