To fully harness the power of new GPU technology, GTX680-DC2-2GD5 comes with ASUS exclusive DirectCU II fan sink and five flatten copper heat-pipes directly contacted the GPU, not only making this card 20% cooler but also leading 14dB quieter operation than reference card. ASUS GTX680-DC2-2GD5 is also built with DIGI+ VRM for precise digital delivery and doubled 8+2 phase power design in Super Alloy Power technology, compared to 4+2 phase power design in reference card, for enhanced over clocked headroom. In addition, proprietary VGA Hotwire allows users to alter voltages directly on a hardware level, resulting in more precise modification. GPU Tweak utility helps users modify and tune NVIDIA® GPU Boost clock speed, power target, and fan performance via an intuitive interface. Moreover, the card uses PCI Express 3.0 as the standard interface, doubling the data bandwidth of PCI Express 2.0. Be careful what you are buying here, when I ordered my card, I searched for GTX 680-DC2-2GD5, came up with quite a few items, looked at prices and picked this one. Pictures, Product Features & Product Description all said "GTX 680-DC2-2GD5". The add title was the only thing that said "GTX 660-DC2-2GD5". 23 sellers, priced from $234. to over $500. Some sellers even indicated the GTX680. Received card, it was GTX 660-DC2-2GD5. Emailed Amazon, explained details.Reply was "I'm sorry to hear the item you received didn't meet the website description. It is always important for us to hear how customers react to all aspects of shopping at Amazon.com. Strong customer feedback like yours helps us continue to improve the selection and service we provide. I've forwarded your message to our appropriate department for investigation to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. When something like this happens, I'd normally send out a replacement order. In this case, though, we don't have any more stock of the "ASUS Graphics Cards GTX660-DC2-2GD5". Please return the item for a refund. We'll pay the return shipping cost."I'm not happy!
