I ordered this to go on a vanilla eVGA 670 GTX card. Since most cases have the coolers pointing down, you normally get to see the bare PCB facing up in a case. This adds a finished, polished look to the video card once installed. Just a word of advice - you have to remove all of the existing heatsink screws from the back of the card to install this. I wound up cleaning off the thermal paste on the heatsink and gpu and re-installing new paste, as I was concerned that it would not be adequate at cooling the card once it was removed and re-attached.
