I bought this card from Amazon exactly 4 months ago. It failed 3 days ago. Same problem everyone is having with this card - black screen lockups with any 3D application. Read around - half of the reviews on Newegg now report premature failures. For that reason ASUS has discontinued this card. I know because when I called them to get an advance replacement they said that they couldn't because it is no longer being made. This card was just released 4-MONTHS-AGO. Not a good sign. So if you buy this card and it fails (and apparently a large percentage are), you will be stuck without a video card while they run you through the RMA process which can take weeks to months. As far as ASUS support goes, they are very easy to access, very friendly, they speak English, but are completely unwilling to be flexible to assist their customers stuck with their defective cards. I even offered to take a downgrade to a lower model and they refused that as well. Pretty poor policy. Last ASUS video card I will ever buy (they make pretty damn good motherboards, though).Update 10/31: I have received the replacement and it seems to be working fine - but not after having to buy a replacement card, using it for 3 weeks and then selling it for a loss. I have since learned that the card has not been discontinued, as noted in the comment to this review by the ASUS rep. Now I am even more confused as to why the rep I spoke with on the phone indicated that they were and refused to send an advanced replacement when I submitted my RMA. Now I am not sure what to tell people about this card. What I can say is that ASUS should not be surprised that they get poor reviews of their products when they disenfranchise loyal customers with unfriendly customer service policies. I'm upgrading my rating but I would still be wary of this card and ASUS customer support. After further research I would probably pick the EVGA
