This is my first beasty card. what do i have to say well. the card is running on a rig withrocketfish 500wamd phenom 95004gb crucial ram2 internal hdd sata 360gb1 external calvery 1tbmobo asrock n68c-s ucc40 Inch led samsungLogitech z2300 200 watt rms that's 400 maxThere's the set up pretty good for a pc that still has the original hard drives from 5 years ago. the only issue i had was spacing so i had to moun my hard drive to my cases side through the vent holes and the dreaded sata cables became hecktic bet there staying in but wired close to the vid card i can't help it i liked the old data cords in tight snug these new cords the caseing breaksoh well. The card is sturdy but build is light weight well it has to be its over 4lb so you need to sucre it well and uprightwell with that said heat average 68c on load below 100 degrees on desktop i got a 8mm dynix fan and the slot plate below the card removed. my setup is not thrilling but i play metro maxed. 40Frames maxed mafia 2. heaven benchmark 38 & 60 maxed. i even had maxe physics and tess on nvidias super sonic sled benchmark and it aced it 100%. All in all i maxed just cause 2and the benchmarks had a driver issue caues when i played the game the one slowed water. effects. were normal speed. needs more driver support. note some games won't register. the4gb. also the prossesr is 5 years old and ran at 5hrs a day. upgraded. from agalaxy430 its a breather playing in 1080 to the max. the cards not as big as The 200 cards so it works lets jus see how long i can game withit befor my ddr2 is useless i recomend tis card

Ok so this card is amazing i have it overclocked @830/2000 with no voltage increase never goes above 60c just beast. i can get 100+fps on games like crysis 2 deadspace 2 battlefield 2, metro with directx 11 max i get around 60 very playable but metro brings the 590 to its knees.metro will get 100fps on directx 9.the card itself is 10 inches long which isnt bad fans can get a little loud above 70%.i know 100% i will be able to run battlefield 3 max settings no problem i very happy with this card would recommend to anyone. ohh im using a 1920x1200 monitor with a i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz i still have lots of room for overclocking cpu and gpu so yeah get this card youll love it.

I had tried two different VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 4350 512 MB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card 900270 with no luck after spending hours trying to make it work. Amazon was flawless as always with the returns. I wanted to give it one last shot so I tried this card. I took out the old card, stuck this one in and rebooted. Every thing worked flawlessly! This was for a 3 year old Dell running the latest version of windows 7 with all the latest updates and service packs, so I have no idea why the other card would not work. I highly recommend this one.

I've had a GTX 460 for about a year now and am extremely satisfied with it. I can run Battlefield 3 on high settings with very little loss in frame rate. However, in regards to this, and other manufacturers' 460 cards, be very aware if you're buying one as a second or third card to use in regards to SLI.I bought this card in order to take advantage of the SLI option with my original GTX 460. When I went into the Nvidia control panel to enable SLI, the option was not available. I did some investigating and found when installed this card identified itself via the display driver as a 460v2. Nowhere on the card's physical box or description does it say this. The card has the same graphics processing unit (GTX 460) and the same amount of video memory (1 gig) on it as my original card, aside from the fact it was made by a different manufacturer. According to nVidia's FAQ on SLI this is all that is required to utilize the functionality. Unfortunately this does not appear to be the case. The GTX 460v2 clocks for the GPU and video memory are higher than the orignal (778MHz & 2004MHz vs 675MHz & 1800MHz), but the bus width is narrower (192-bits vs 256-bits). With these differences in specs the cards will not work together.Bottom line, if you're looking for a single video card I can definitely recommend it for its performance and value. If you're buying two or more, check the specs carefully, or better yet, get them all from the same manufacturer.

Set this in my new gaming rig, first PC I'd ever built. Install was a breeze. Set up was easy after boot, just get the proper drivers and everything is cake. OC'ed to 925 core/1225 memory, this thing is great. The fans are quiet if you leave them on auto, which I didn't. My card was running around 50C plus or minus 5 degrees in Diablo 3 with max settings, LoL with max settings, and DayZ with normal settings. That's pretty cool. It handled all these games at around 50% GPU usage. I set my own custom fan profile with MSI's Afterburner software, which allowed me to overclock the card as well. As I mentioned, if you leave the fan on auto, its a pretty quiet card. However, when the fans start spinning at around 50%, it starts to make a bit more noise. Personally I don't mind the noise and would prefer a bit of extra cooling, so I over-tune my fans to spin faster than needed. With a solid headset you won't hear the fan over whatever you're doing, so the sound isn't a huge deal.All in all a great card. Seems to handle everything I throw at it very well.
