well i needed a replacement graphics card for my crossfire 4670's that had to satisfy three criteria1. i needed a card under 300$2. i wanted at least 2gb of mem so i could take my hobby in 3d modeling/animation to the next level3. also had to be good at gamesi landed on this card and WOW it blows away all three of these requiriments. no longer am i forced to lower the amount of objects in my scenes due to memory limitations. gaming? this thing runs my games with most if not all settings cranked up (though my monitor resolution is only 1440x900) interestingly enough gta 4 says its using 1.5gb of video memory with everything cranked to the max yet i still get 30-60fps with no stutters so im happy:) overclocking? after playing my games and just messing around with it a bit i installed the xtreme tuner hd software it came with i cranked the voltage to 1.050 fans to 100 and started increasing clocks i stopped increasing at 950mhz on the core and 2200 there is def more headroom with this card im just to lazy to continue sliding the sliders over to the right ;) what about its cooling? in my haf 912 case ( 1 thermaltake 120mm on the side and 2 200mm nzxt silent green fans on front and top) with fans cranked to 100 after 1 hour of furmark the max temp reported was 64 degrees celsius WITH the overclock which is just awesome.if you want a card that wont break the bank but will still give you top of the line performance the galaxy geforce gtx 560 gc 2gb is for yousystem specs used onamd phenom 2 955 3.7ghz stock coolerthermaltake tr2 430w (yes it runs fine on this upgrade soon)haf 912 casehitachi 250gb media drive + 750gb caviar black main driveliteon dvd driveasrock m3a770de motherboardgalaxy geforce gtx 560 gc 2gbhp 1907w monitor
