So I picked this card up back in October when I was building my new rig. Intel i7, 8gb corsair ram, haf 922 mid tower case etc (message if you'd like to know full specs) and I wanted a really good graphics card. Given the specs of the other parts I ordered, I couldn't afford anything more than $350 on graphics card (as of october 2011) and after much research I decided on this model. Very good choice.. Immediately after installing the card and updating the drivers, the first game I fired up was RAGE. Played it on max settings without a hitch.Most games since then, I have had no issues on playing it at max. The only game that gave me trouble at ULTRA settings was witcher 2, but a little tweaking and it was fine right after. There was however one issue. Every so often, my display driver would crash, you know for second screen flashes and then recovers in windows. It only happened very rarely so I didnt pay much attention to it. I always made sure to update to the latest drivers.But then last week, while I was playing an old game, the same thing happened..it crashed...red lines on the screen followed by the blue screen citing memory dump and crashes and my pc was stuck in an infinite loop after that..it was booting into safe mode however with the same red lines..i uninstalled the drivers and tried to fix it but but it apparently looked like a hardware issue. I called EVGA and there is a 3 year warranty on my card at the time. so they were very helpful (24/7) and walked me through getting my card replaced.. Only thing that sucked is that I had to ship it out to them on my dime. The card is briliant and I love it but because of the minor issues I've had, I'm givint it 4 stars instead of a full 5.
