I bought this video card in 2009 and it is still working fine today. I bought it because it was, at the time at least, one of the only pci express x1 video cards on the market. I used this card in in conjunction with another x16 card to power 3 monitors on my workstation. I had two monitors plugged into my main video card, and 1 monitor plugged into this one. The fact that this card has DisplayLink output was a nice bonus since my monitor had a DisplayLink input. It came with two DVI adapters though, so you could use it with most monitors.Since I bought this product, I have upgraded to an ATI eyefinity enabled product, specifically the XFX Radeon HD 5770, which I now use to power 3 displays with one card. However, this Quado card has a maximum power consumption of 23W and doesn't have big loud fans like a lot of graphics cards to, so I have moved it to my HTPC and it is working great there.

I picked up this card in anticipation for a new HP ZR2740W monitor, knowing that I needed a more powerful video card over to power the higher 2560x1440 resolution on a 27" monitor over my previous GTX 460. So far, i've been extremely happy with the card, as it runs Modern Warfare 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Starcraft II, and Battlefield 3 all extremely well without any issues and at high detail.Some notes about this version of the card:-The model number ending in AR has EVGA's lifetime warranty. The KR version only has 3 years. Something to keep in mind.-The HD version is actually about an inch and a half shorter then the non-HD cards. For those with smaller cases, this is very useful as the normal version won't fit in my Antec Solo case while this one does.-The HD version also includes a Displayport, which is a nice to have for anyone buying newer high end monitors. I'm currently using it with my 27" monitor and it works great.-The HD version also uses a different cooler since it's a smaller card from the reference GTX 570 design. I haven't seen any issues with noise or temperatures though.Overall it's a great card, and when I purchased it there was a promo to get a free PC copy of Batman Arkham City, which is an excellent bonus. Highly recommended for anyone upgrading their monitors to a higher resolution and need something more powerful to run it.

THis is a fast, efficient video card, and totally QUIET since Saphire Ultimate has no fan. Be sure it fits your Mobo - on GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3R the huge unshown heatsink on other side ran into my RAM. Perhaps another RAM is not as tall as CORSAIR DOMINATOR. Solved it by cutting almost 2 inches by 1/2 inch deep cuts out of 3 fins of heatsink. Love the sound of no GPU fan!

I bought this to replace a faulty Nvidia GT 220 and so far it's worked like a charm and runs very cool--around 32-35 degrees C. I should mention that I don't run Windows on my machine, Linux Mint (main edition) being my main OS with two other test partitions for distro hopping. Currently I have Chakra Linux "Edn" (based on Arch) installed in one and PCLinuxOS (based on Mandriva) in the other. The point being that the GT 430 has been automatically/semi-automatically (depending on the distro) detected and the correct driver has been installed (Nvidia 270 and 275). One thing to keep in mind is that the GT 430's forte is multimedia and entertainment and not heavy gaming. As such it works great for everyday use, light gaming/older PC games, websites that are heavy with Flash, HTML5, etc and script (like web based games and apps), video streaming and for using your PC as an entertainment center. Those who wish to run the latest high end PC games should look to the higher end video cards though. The Nvidia GPU and 1.0 GB of DDR3 memory takes a load off your CPU as well.Highly recommended.
