This video card is obviously focused on being a good HTPC or media center solution, but it is extremely powerful and can hold its own in the gaming world. I have a large collection of PC games, most of them on Steam, and before this card was installed, they all had to be played in low quality settings and some would still lag and give low framerates. I installed this card and everything runs like melted butter, and the catch is that my PC doesn't overheat or anything! Much better than the GeForce 210 I installed previously.ATI is now the only brand video card I consider worthy of gaming purposes, because every Nvidia card I buy either breaks or overheats. I have had ATI Radeon in several computers now, and every time, it out-performed Nvidia in its price range. Keep in mind that I don't overclock. I keep my equipment running at stock speed.This card, the MSI Radeon HD R6570, combined with the AMD Phenom II X4 3.2GHz Black Edition, is the best gaming hardware I ever had, and I have had a lot. My new PC, without the card, cost me $400, and with the card, it totaled $480. I was worried my PC would have too low of power to support the card, but now, it turns out the 430W PSU is plenty of juice! I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this card to all my friends.
