Radeon 7850's are an excellent bang for the buck GPU with great performance in games. This one is no exception. Overall I am very happy with this card, but I would only recommend it if you can find it at a significantly lower price than the 2GB models. This is one of the few 7850's with only 1GB of RAM. It does make a slight difference in performance when pushing the card to its limits (like running BF3 on Ultra).The card comes in nice professional packaging. It is a very solidly build card. The heatsink is large with plenty of copper. The fan shroud is all metal and it gives the card a nice solid feel. There is only one fan, but it seems to cool well, even if RPM cranks up at times. It takes up two card slots, but only one PCIe x16 port. The box says it needs two 6 pin power connectors, but there is only one on this card.Performance wise, this is doing very well. I would recommend a slight overclock by maxing the clock speed to 1050mhz and running the memory at 1300-1325Mhz with just a little 5% power boost. After doing that, I am getting benchmark scores that are within a few percent of the 7870 and GTX 660 cards and the card still stays well under 70 degrees at full load in games. There is a lot more headroom on some 7850s, so while this is a great overclock, many other cards can do more and even beat a stock 7870.So again, I like the card, but it leaves me with the feeling that it is probably one of the lower end 7850s. Only recommended if price is right.
