Easiest way to describe this card is "A Monster!".I tossed on Crysis and went from low settings on my 7800GT to high settings on 2nd highest resolution (on my 24" monitor) - no AA. I haven't tried 1920x1200 but I'm doubtful since Crysis is such a resource hog. I cranked HL2:E2 all the way up with AA and all.I can't even being to tell you how long this card is compared to cards in 7 series. I would say 3 inches longer than the 7800GT and much thicker. But the dual slot is worth it - since it helps vent all the heat out. From everything I've read, these cards are very easy to OC and they do it well. One last thing, if your board is PCI-E 1.0 - the card still works. I wouldn't say the card is future proof but it's ready for the new boards with PCI-E 2.0. So again - don't think twice about upgrading. If you need a new card and you got the cash - this is a great card!If you're thinking of upgrading from a 7 series - I wouldn't think twice. If you're at a 8800GTS-G92 then it might be worth the wait until the next series (check Tom's Hardware for more info).
